Tooth Eruption Age

Teeth begin to erupt within the first 6 months after birth. There are 20 primary teeth in total, 10 in the upper jaw and 10 in the lower jaw, which usually take their place in the mouth by the end of the 30th month.

When does each tooth erupt?

Delayed or early eruption of teeth is a very common condition. Extra (supernumerary) teeth that erupt within 1–2 months should be removed by a pediatric dentist to prevent harm to both the mother and the baby. If teeth do not erupt within one year, it is advisable to consult a dentist.

What should be done if teeth do not erupt?

Due to growth and development, teeth may erupt earlier or later than expected. If there is a significant delay in tooth eruption, you should immediately contact your pediatrician and have the necessary examinations performed.
